Heating your home is one of those unavoidable necessities. Paying for it should be as easy as possible.
Our budget scheme is a convenient and regular way to pay. It spreads the cost evenly throughout the year, eliminating the surprise of a large winter heating bill and the need to pay out a lump sum. The scheme is best suited to customers who use at least 2000 litres of fuel per year.
How does the scheme work?
· You pay a set amount each month, with no set up or interest charges for the service.*
· Once we receive your application form we can estimate your annual oil consumption.
· We use an average oil price to calculate a total sum for your typical year’s supply, and simply divide this amount into twelve equal payments.
· Upon receipt of the completed direct debit mandate, we will deliver your first order under the scheme. You will be required to pay an initial payment by cheque, debit or credit card which will be a proportion of the invoiced amount whilst the direct debit is set up.
· We will review your payments and oil consumption regularly, and recalculate payments for the forthcoming months if necessary, but we take no action without prior notice. You will receive statements quarterly.
· You can quit the scheme at any time simply by paying the outstanding balance, or requesting a settlement cheque if your account is in credit.
· Please note:
• Regulations dictate a minimum metering quantity for a delivery to be 500 litres.
• We prefer to supply about half a year’s usage in one delivery.
• Your account must be in credit for some time during the year.
• If any of your details change, it is important that you notify us.
How to join
Simply read the terms and conditions, then complete the application form and the direct debit mandate, and send them by post to our principal office at Babbinswood. We will then contact you to confirm the monthly amounts payable and set up your direct debit.
